sorry boys, i couldn't resist. no mother can resist taking those cute little "buns" shots before getting into the tub. i love the red cheeks (both ends) and feel so blessed to have these two boys every time i see them smile!

lucky dawn, i drew her name for secret santa at work this year. she had been wanting pics of her kids all year, now i finally got to take some for her, all behind her back without her knowing it. i thought for sure the kids would tell her on accident, but they pulled it off! fun......

jordan thinks he has to tell brendan a little secret here. again, trying to get a good christmas card picture is quite a joke. you'll all have to wait and see which one i picked for the actual essing card....

MY BIG FIVE YEAR OLD

and then there's my big five year old! what a helper. he sure loves playing with his brothers and playing with dad. mom is pretty much old news now. he is doing well in his "young five's" kindergarten class and has so much fun. and he loves to come home and play with his star wars toys, transformers and watch sponge bob. and still not too big to snuggle with mom in the mornings.

SIX MONTHS OLD

wow, the boys are six months old already! how the time does fly. and thank goodness, because i am actually glad they are this old and i have lived to tell about it. they are starting to think about rolling over and have started to try some baby foods. can't quite sit up yet, although jordan has a nice big belly that helps him balance. he he he...

HATS

the boys and their hats. not their favorite. but do any kids like hats? mine never do. and then we have justin playing with his little brother brendan under the floor gym. brendan thinks it is so funny when justin crawls under there with him. what a good big brother.

NOISY AND BEE

had a fun baby shower for a good, longtime friend this past saturday. we have been friends since "bee" was two. and i was always known around their house as "noisy". don't ask me how i ever got that nickname... because those of you who know me at all know that i don't like to talk. he he he.

CHRISTMAS CARD PHOTO SHOOT

wow, what a nightmare! trying to get a picture of all three boys for our annual christmas card...usually one or the other twin is screaming and justin is trying his hardest to hold and help. what a disaster. and i'm going to try this all again tomorrow morning. i guess i'm just a glutton for punishment!

LITTLE MISS "L"

had a great shoot last weekend with the "H" family and little miss "L". she is 18 months old and i had so much fun photographing her. thanks mom "H" for this fun opportunity!

BRENDAN ALL TUCKERED OUT

doing dishes tonight, i turn around and brendan has fallen asleep right on the living room floor...remember those days when you could just fall asleep at the drop of a hat?

SCHOOL DAYS

young five's kindergarten is lots of fun for justin this year. he goes every day in the afternoon. on this particular day he thought he needed his hair done. "you know mom, pointy." "you mean spikey justin?" "yeah, spikey." sounds good, and looks good too. of course, there is hardly any hair there to spike up, but we got the gel out and gave it our best shot.

FIVE MONTHS OLD

wow, we are five months old already! and both pretty happy most of the time. brendan is sleeping through the night completely now. mom is very excited about that. she would be even more excited if jordan decided to follow along. but no, he still thinks he needs to eat at 2 am every night! tonight we're going to try cold turkey and see how long he cries. maybe he'll fall right back to sleep..... i'll keep you all posted!

HALLOWEEN

halloween with all three boys. mom and dad took all three of us out trick-or-treating. we went up and down the street once and got done just before it started to rain. then we went over to papa and oma tilma's house for a little extra candy. justin was a ninja and the boys were just "the boys."

THE "T" FAMILY

had a wonderful photo shoot this weekend with the "T" family. what a beautiful family! mom, dad and 15 month old little max. from the chicago area and visiting family in grand rapids, they graciously allowed me the chance to photograph them. what a blessed family they have. if you know of anyone who needs family pics, send them to my website www.memoriesbybeca.com.

PUMPKIN CARVING

pumpkin carving at the essing house. this year oma and papa were over for their october birthday lunch and they stayed to help carve pumpkins. actually, oma and justin pulled out guts, mom carved out the faces and papa did what he does best, bounced babies (brendan above) and slept on the couch. justin and oma are making their best scary monster faces! don't know what i would do without my family!

DON'T LOOK SO EXCITED GUYS

this is a typical sunday at mom and dad tilma's house. mom tilma makes a huge lunch for everyone and by 1 pm all are sacked out on the couch. tori, aunt sara and brendan share a few zzzzzzz's.

OH SOOO HAPPY

they will be 5 month old already on the 19th of october. how time goes by.

WHAT"S SO FUNNY

brendan and jordan were pretty happy campers tonight. they are just starting to really laugh at you and interact. so much fun!

THE OFFICE

ok, i'm sure there are a few of you out there that love "The Office" television show as much as karl and i. but so far, everyone i have talked to does not watch it. we are huge fans at our house and cannot wait for the season premiere tonight! now, if i can just get all the boys into bed by 9:00 pm.....

FIRST PAIR OF SHOES

here they are, the first pair of shoes. thank you auntie erica for picking these up for the boys! they are so cute....

WISCONSIN FERRY TRIP

got to take my three boys to wisconsin this past weekend to see great-oma and all the great aunts and uncles! what a fun trip. my mom and sister went along to help me and see the family too. my grandma has said she prayed for twins when she was having kids and now she finally has a set at age 76. it was so nice to see everyone. and thanks to auntie marzo for letting justin stay at her house. that's all he's talked about since coming home.

SWEATER WEATHER

finally, it's cool enough to wear our fall clothes. these adorable little sweaters were given to me by a good friend and previous co-worker, brandi. the boys look so cute in them.

we also had our four month check up today. all those shots, yuck. but they are finally on the percentage scale, with jordan in the 75% for height and weight and brendan in the 50%-75% for height and weight. growing boys!

SENIOR PICTURE FUN

miss "k" and her brothers mr "j" and mr "t"...i did senior pictures for mr "j" two years ago and this year it was miss "k". we had a lot of fun shooting these. i have known this family for almost 15 years now, having met them at our former church. i love you guys!
